Important things to note

YOU MUST BRING A WETSUIT
Wetsuits are usually compulsory for the Busselton 100 and Aquabike swim due to the time of year and air/water temp. This is for safety reasons. By registering for this event, you acknowledge that a wetsuit may be required to be worn, and you will have one with you on race day.

BIKE RACKING AND PACK COLLECTION
Bikes must be racked on the evening of Saturday 3 May 2025, the day before your race. No late racking is permitted, so please plan to be in Busselton by Saturday afternoon. Your race pack must be collected before you rack your bike. See the event schedule and athlete guide for full details closer to race day.

POST-RACE PRESENTATIONS FUNCTION
We reccomend you plan ahead and book accomodation for both Saturday and Sunday night, as the Busselton 100 and Aquabike trophy presentations for Age Group, Para and Open category awards will take place on Sunday evening, post-race.

RACE RULES
The Busselton 100 and Aquabike are both run under AusTriathlon Race Competition Rules. You can access a copy of the race rules at www.triathlon.org.au/rules. We encourage all competitors to familiarise themselves with the rules prior to racing.

RACE ROSTER ENHANCED REFUND PROTECTION PROGRAM – NEW
As part of your registration, before checkout you will be asked if you’d like to protect your race experience by purchasing Race Roster protection. By choosing to do this, you can likely get 100% of your fees back up until race day if something happens, ie. a training accident or illness. Terms and conditions do apply. Find more info HERE. This protection is administered and managed by Race Roster, not Triathlon WA or Busselton Festival of Triathlon. For any support or questions about this, please contact [email protected].

Team options

If youโ€™re not ready to compete alone, why not create a team and split the distance between you. Participating as a team is available for the Busselton 100, but not the Aquabike.

All team participants must be at least 18 years old as at 31/12/2024 to race.

HOW DO TEAMS WORK?
Busselton 100 Teams can be made up of 2 or 3 people. In a team of 3 people: 1 person swims, 1 person bikes and 1 person runs. You each take turns so that only one person is on course at any given time.

In a team of 2 people, one person does 2 legs of the race and the other person does one. If you want to do all 3 legs of the race, youโ€™ll need to enter as an individual.

When registering your team, the Team Captain must start by creating the Team name, passcode, and registering themselves. Once they are in, they can then invite their team members with a link or code. Make sure to assign each person their team role – swimmer, cyclist or runner. The Team Captain can adjust the teams role at a later stage as needed via Race Roster.

During the race, the timing chip is passed between team mates in transition (swim to bike, then bike to run), and on the last lap all team members can meet at the โ€˜team meeting pointโ€™ to cross the finish line together.

Youโ€™ll each get your own participant pack, wristband, race number, finisher tee, finisher medal and towel. Make sure to ask the volunteers at the finish line for your medal/towel if you donโ€™t want to join your runner down the finish chute.

PLEASE NOTE: If one or more of your teammates are Non-Members (or Social/Basic AusTriathlon members), you must choose the Non-Member team option so that the team pays the One Day license fee.

If your team is representing your workplace, you can also participate in the Corporate Cup!
